The
Documentation Centre:
This houses
approximately 4000 published and unpublished documents.
The collection
comprises:
- Books on
women's issues, gender and development, HIV and AIDS, gender
budgeting
- Reference
material such as directories and dictionaries on gender and feminist
terminology
- Grey or
unpublished materials
- Periodicals,
newsletters, magazines from Zimbabwe, Africa and the rest of the
world
- Newspaper
clippings from daily and weekly newspapers
- Audio visual
materials on gender and other subjects
- CD ROMs on
various topics
- Information
on the various United Nations world conferences
ZWRCN offers
reading facilities for those who want to enrich their knowledge.
Photocopying facilities are also available to photocopy only what
is in the Documentation Centre. Internet searches can also be done
for the users.
The ZWRCN Documentation
Centre prepares and distributes the New Acquisitions list five times
a year. The acquisitions consist of books, papers, booklets, CD
ROMs and manuals. The information is available for use in Documentation
Centre.
