Some of you
may know that I have recently come out of hospital after an operation
to remove a tumour. God works in mysterious ways because my problem
started with severe pain in my kidneys. Having had kidney stones
before, I was certain I had the same problem again and I went for
a scan. In the scan, a tumour was spotted on my adrenal gland so
if it wasn't for the kidney stones, I would never have found out
about the tumour and I don't believe I would have survived. The
doctor regarded the tumour as very serious because he couldn't tell
if it was malignant or not so he felt it was more important to remove
the tumour and deal with the kidney stones later. I was very happy
to learn that the tumour was not malignant. It was called a cavernous
haemangioma.
I would like
to thank all of you who sent me get well messages by email and Facebook.
I was feeling quite despondent in hospital and my wife Cheryl printed
all the messages out for me every day. I felt so much better after
reading the messages and I'm sure they helped me to recover so I
am most grateful to all of you.
I still have
to have the kidney stones removed but my funds are very low after
the tumour operation so I will have to wait until I can do some
work and earn some more money.
