Against the
backdrop of Operation
Murambatsvina, Eleanor Alfred began her work with orphans and
vulnerable children. She describes how this government exercise
affected people suffering with HIV, and how she came to the realisation
that she could do something to help widows and vulnerable children
in her community despite being forced to dismantle her home by the
police.
