Resolution from the GALZ Indaba
Gays and Lesbians of Zimbabwe (GALZ)

We the undersigned individuals/organisations being fully committed to the development of a positive rights discourse in Zimbabwe agree to the following resolution.

It is resolved that: -

a. All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights and that all human rights are universal, interdependent, indivisible and interrelated.

b. Sexual orientation and gender identity are integral to every person's dignity and humanity and must not be the basis for discrimination or abuse.

We agree it is necessary to specifically include sexual orientation in our new constitution to ensure equality for all.
We commit to educating, lobbying and advocating to achieve this end
