The Republic
of Zimbabwe has received a grant from the African Development Bank
Group in the amount of UA 16.12 million towards the cost of Capacity
Building for Public Finance and Economic Management (CBPFEM) Project.
It is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant to cover
eligible payments under the contract for hiring of a Consultant
to develop a Project Implementation Manual (PIM).
The services
included under this project are to develop a Project Implementation
Manual (PIM) that simplifies, formalise and standardise PMU administrative
procedures, procurement of goods and services, training, and consultancies
(as applicable), financial management (planning, budgeting, accounting
and recording, internal controls, reporting and auditing), disbursements,
monitoring and evaluation, progress reporting and relations with
stakeholders (including outlining the main roles and responsibilities
of the stakeholders).
The Ministry
of Finance now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest
in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide
information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services
description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions,
availability of appropriate skills, etc.).
Eligibility
criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure
shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s
“Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” September
2010, revised July 2012, which is available on the Bank’s
website at http://www.afdb.org.
