A workshop for staff of international agencies with advisory or
direct management responsibility for relief, development, rights
and peace-building programmes. Providing practical models and methods
to assist aid agency staff to find constructive ways of engaging
with unpredictable and changing circumstances. The interaction between
policy and practice is a major theme. Practical sessions on conflict
handling skills are included.

Course

A course run in conjunction with the Centre for Forgiveness and
Reconciliation at Coventry University. The certificate aims to provide
a greater conceptual understanding of conflict, violence and peace
and the forces of conflict dynamics. It provides a range of practical
skills-based training in the handling of conflict situations.
