Zimbabwe: Church Has a New Bulletin
Catholic Information Service for Africa (Nairobi)

IN TOUCH WITH CHURCH & FAITH, a Catholic News service for Zimbabwe, is a weekly newsletter of the Jesuit Communications. It is available at least as E-Mail. However, some of the articles will also be publish on the Jesuit Communications website, http://www.jescom.co.zw

The debut issue is dated June 30, 2004, and is "is the first of a series of Newsletters with various information on church and faith".

Views, comments, contributions and questions can be directed to Fr Oskar Wermter SJ, at owermter@zol.co.zw.

For subscriptions, an e-mail with the subject JOIN can also be sent to the same address.

Among other articles in the first issue of IN TOUCH WITH CHURCH & FAITH, is one by Sr Helen Tendayi Maminimini, Superior General of the sister's order Little Children of the Blessed Lady, making a clarification following recent media reports associating the nuns with irregular land acquisition at Malabar Farm near Father O'Hea Memorial Hospital in Kutama.

Other news items include the appointment of Bishop Robert Ndlovu of Hwange as the new Archbishop of Harare.
