Kunonga hoist with his own petard

The well reasoned out judgement by the Supreme Court against Kunonga is a befitting sentence to a man who perniciously rejected God and sought earthly glories from men of flesh.

Kunonga's actions for the past five years caused a lot of pain and strife to so many genuine fellowship of the Anglican Church.

Having basked in the façade of support from Zanu PF for five years, Kunonga became so much of an enigma to the extent of desecrating even the most holy places. Kunonga became so insolent under a mistaken belief that the institution from which he derived his powers was greater than the Almighty and went on to defile the most sacred places like the famous Bernard Mizeki Shrines.

So heinous and evil were his activities that the resultant effects of his deeds have come back to haunt him and as such he finds himself entangled in a web of anachronism where he needs some self redeeming theatrics to be re-accepted in the community of Christian fellowship.

Kunonga's case should serve as a lesson to all those merchants of tyranny masquerading as churches, who seek to challenge the power of the Lord at the instigation of some purported powerful institutions that their days are numbered and will certainly suffer the wrath of God.

The MDC applauds the resilience and strength of the Anglican Church of the province of Central Africa fellowship in their struggle against evil machinations fronted by Kunonga and warn other religious deviants who are abusing hapless and genuine congregants in the guise of indigenous churches to advance evil political gains that they also shall crumble like a deck of cards against the real and true power of God.

We are happy that God has shown the greatness of his power and justice. Common sense has now prevailed. This indeed is victory of good over evil. We call upon the leadership of this country to ensure that genuine worshipers are not hindered in the enjoyment of their basic rights in the future.

The word of God in Proverbs chapter 26 verse 27 says "who so diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him." So shall it be on them that defy the will of God."
