Easter message
MDC
Youth Assembly
April
06, 2012
Today marks
exactly six months since Solomon
Madzore and others were arrested. Others were arrested even
earlier before.
This statement draws the public's attention to the continued denial
of justice to Solomon Madzore and others. Six months down the line,
the High court of Zimbabwe has not adjudicated on the bail application
of the detainees. Even worse, the court has continuously failed
to bring the accused to trial, citing numerous frivolous reasons,
including the illness of Justice Bhunu. Much as we wish Bhunu a
speedy recovery, we demand Justice Bhunu to immediately recuse himself
from the case and allow a competent judge to finalize the matter.
Justice cannot be compromised on account of an individual's ill-health.
The continued miscarriage of justice on this matter highlights the
fundamental flaws in our justice delivery system. In this matter,
we can conclude that the courts are in connivance with ZANU PF in
its quest to deny the accused justice and keep them in detention
for as long as possible. We demand justice.
In the same vein, we call upon SADC to immediately honour its pledge
to enhance the capacity of JOMIC to monitor and ensure the implementation
of the GPA.
We want to state unequivocally our disappointment with the manner
in which our party has handled the issue of the political arrests.
To date, six months down the line, there appears to be no urgency,
no action and no movement on the part of our leadership. It is business
as usual, and this cannot be. We demand action, Fundamental action
from the party! Pull out of the GNU
if that is what it takes. ZANU PF cannot and should not be allowed
to get away with murder. We cannot go to elections without reforms;
we cannot go to elections without Solomon Madzore!
Saviour Kasukuwere
Saviour Kasukuwere has caused enough trouble for one person; he
must be fired from government with immediate effect. He has put
the country and the government into disrepute by continuously vomiting
statements that contradict government policy. He continues on his
deluded path of believing that his wishes should supersede government
policy. We cannot embrace policies that are motivated by greed and
primitive accumulation of wealth. The youth of Zimbabwe have not
seen a cent from the so called indigenization programme. Therefore,
Kasukuwere must go and be replaced by someone who will respect the
country`s laws, constitution and policies. We don't want a
Malema in Government.
Violence
The infrastructure of violence that was instituted by the Joint
Operations Command to deny Zimbabweans their right to exercise their
choice of leadership remains intact and are being resuscitated.
Jim Kunaka, a notorious ZANU PF thug and others continue to commit
acts of violence and intimidation with impunity and immunity. We
urge the people of Zimbabwe to stand together in defence of their
communities. No stranger should be allowed to enter your village
and perpetrate terror. Unite and drive strangers out of your communities.
Defend yourselves from political wolves. It is your fundamental
right. The youth assembly stands ready to work with the people to
destroy all institutions of violence. In that regard, we urge the
government of national unity to brief the nation on what the national
Security Council is doing to disband these criminal cabals. We are
100 percent behind the peace prayers currently taking place countrywide.
It is only Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai who has demonstrated
his commitment to peace by attending these very important prayers
and we applaud him for that.
Prophesies
TB Joshua and Prophet Makandiwa predict turmoil in Southern Africa.
We urge our people to remain calm in the face of tribulation. In
the event of any death, we want the constitution and constitutionalism
to take centre stage. Zimbabweans will not accept any unconstitutional
seizure of power. No matter how many bullets you wield, if you have
not passed through the ballot you are not and will never be a legitimate
leader of this country. You deserve to rot in prison!
Chief Negomo
Chief Negomo should settle the 4000 dollars that he stole from the
bank, and remit the fertilizer that he took from government claiming
that he wants to give it to the people.
Long live Solomon Madzore long live!
Long live the people of Zimbabwe, long live!
Long live Morgan Tsvangirai long live!
Happy Easter
