Former Budiriro MP dies
Movement for Democratic Change (MDC)
February 21, 2012

The MDC has learnt with shock and sorrow the death of Emmanuel Chisvuure, the former MP for Budiriro in Harare.

Chisvuure died yesterday at the Harare Central Hospital after a short illness.

Chisvuure was elected the MP for Budiriro in the 2006 by-election following the death of the then MP for the area, Gilbert Shoko.

Before that he was the MDC Ward 14 chairperson in Budiriro. At the time of his death he was running a private business in Harare and was still heavily involved in MDC activities in Harare province.

He is survived by a wife and two children. Mourners are gathered at 8676 Paradise Park in Highfield, Harare.

He will be buried on Thursday in Gokwe.
