Four MDC activists from Chikomba District in Mashonaland East Province, Anna Peresu, Timothy Mugari, Remita Motiwa and Taruvinga, were kidnapped by Zanu PF youth militia on Sunday at Mbare Musika, Harare and their whereabouts remain unknown.

The four were travelling to Chikomba after attending the MDC Third National Congress in Bulawayo. A report was made at Mbare but no action has been taken by the police. Many MDC activists on Sunday were assaulted by Zanu PF terror gang known as Chipangano, in Mbare and their regalia were confiscated.
