Police
hunt for MDC's Director of Security
Movement
for Democratic Change (MDC)
September
24, 2009
Police details from the
Law and Order Section are looking for MDC Director of Security Chris
Dhlamini for questioning.
Dhlamini last month presented
a dossier of murdered MDC victims of violence to the Attorney-General's
Office. The AG's office has not taken any action on the alleged
perpetrators of violence despite the fact that some of the culprits
are known and police reports were made.
Dhlamini received a call
today from an officer from the Law and Order Section advising him
to report at the Harare Central Police Station in connection with
the dossier submitted to the AG's Office.
Last year Dhlamini and
other MDC activists were arrested on trumped-up charges of banditry
charges and spent months in remand prison until his release on bail
in February this year.
