Editor - In response to the story about the continued rape of school girls at Macheke Government Primary School, Women's Coalition of Zimbabwe co-ordinator Mrs. Netsai Mushonga is quoted as saying: "We think the Ministry of Education, Sport and Culture should be able to stem child abuse at the school."

I am totally gob smacked by this kind of response. It's high time women's groups really told the public what they exactly stand for.
