VMCZ press statement on the launch of Southern Eye newspaper by Alpha Media Holdings (AMH)
Voluntary Media Council of Zimbabwe
June 03, 2013

The Voluntary Media Council of Zimbabwe congratulates Alpha Media Holdings (AMH) and its chairperson, Trevor Ncube, on the launch of Southern Eye newspaper.

The newspaper launched on Monday, 03 June 2013 will add to the diversity and pluralism of the print media in Zimbabwe.

The VMCZ hopes the coming on board of the new newspaper will help to create employment to journalists in the region and the newspaper will cover the story of the southern region of the country for the benefit and the development of the people in the region.

The VMCZ hopes the newspaper will contribute to professional and ethical reporting of the southern region of the country and the publication will bring the people closer and serve in informing, educating, guiding and inspiring those who read it.

VMCZ wishes AMH continued success as they celebrate this important milestone in the group’s development.
