Zimbabwe Exiles Forum (ZEF) is saddened to learn of the untimely death of Zakeus Chibaya. ZEF wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the Chibaya family, relatives and friends and indeed the entire Zimbabwean community, at the sad loss of such an aspiring journalist. We sincerely hope that all of us will gain strength from the fact that Zakeus left lasting legacies that all who strive for the return of freedom and human rights in Zimbabwe aspire to. It is only sensible therefore that ZEF encourages all of us to come together as one in pursuit of our common cause, and emulate Zakeus' efforts to keep advocating for the restoration of democracy and peace in Zimbabwe, so that the dearly departed did not die in vain.

Rest In Peace Zakeus, brother, friend and activist.
