Friday Network
meetings are still in progress and it is good to note that they
have captured students from tertiary institutions such as the Harare
Polytechnic and CCOSA. Apart from the new audience, these networks
have conscientised media women on issues that are affecting women
as well as providing a platform for the media as well as organisations
to network and linkage, even after these meetings. FAMWZ is delighted
because there are a number of issues that have been picked up and
used in both print and electronic media. Special thanks to the media
women organisations and individuals who have been supportive of
this worthy cause. We accept network ideas and suggestions.
