    Combined Harare Residents Association (CHRA)

    The Combined Harare Residents Association (CHRA) would like to inform its valued partners and members that as promised, we will be releasing a monthly service delivery score-card that will be measuring the state of service delivery on a monthly basis. We are cognizant of the promises made by the Zanu-PF government prior to election which we intend to use as our measuring instrument. In essence, this sadly means that we will no longer be releasing this product, the Service Delivery Update paving way for a more comprehensive product, the Monthly Service Delivery Score-card. We are committed to the improvement of social service delivery in and around Harare hence we shall also be releasing information with regards to other Cities outside Harare as mandated by the Zimbabwe United Residents Association (ZURA).

    We encourage residents to report any cases of service delivery failure to us via our website which can be accessed on www.tauratinzwe.org.

    Below is a service delivery update for a selected areas in Harare:

    Area Water Supplies Electricity Sewer Bursts Refuse Collection Diarrheal Diseases
    Glen-View No Water supply in ward 30 for more than 8 hours a day Load shedding is experienced for 6 hours a day Nothing has been reported to CHRA Collected on Mondays Nothing has been reported
    Sunningdale There was no water for four days last week. Inconsistent supply, load shedding is experienced for 2hours a day Nothing has been reported to CHRA Collected on Mondays Nothing has been reported.
    Waterfalls (MainWay) There was no water for the past week Load shedding experienced for 3hours a day Nothing has been reported to CHRA Collected on Thursdays Nothing has been reported
    Hatfield No water for the past two weeks Available for the past week Nothing has been recorded Collected on Wednesdays Nothing has been reported
    Mufakose No water on Saturdays for more than 6hours Load shedding on a daily basis for 7 hours A sewer burst at Mutamba Drive has been reported but not yet attended to. Collected on Tuesdays Nothing has been reported
    Mbare Water supply is erratic. There was no water on Saturday for the whole day. There is consistent load shedding for more than 4 hours per day Sewer burst has been noticed at corner Nyazika and Munetsi road last week but has not been attended to. Refuse has not been collected for the past 3 weeks Nothing has been recorded
    Mabvuku No water for the past 3days Constant load shedding for 4hours a day Raw sewer has been flowing into the New Stands opposite Lafarge Cement but the COH has failed to fix the problem. Refuse has been collected last week Nothing has been collected
    Highfield The supply of water has been erratic since the day after harmonized elections. Load shedding is experienced two times per week for three hours. Nothing has been reported to CHRA Inconsistent collection of refuse as there is a perennial dumpsite at Lusaka market. Nothing has been reported
