    Combined Harare Residents Association (CHRA)
    March 28, 2012

Our findings have revealed that typhoid cases have gone done by at least 65% which is a positive move. However, we remain concerned by the erratic provision of water in most areas with Mabvuku and Budiriro being the most affected. Electricity load shedding has also gone on the increase considering that the Cobora Bassa plant reduced supply because of the money owed to it by ZESA and the non compliance of ZANU PF big-wigs in paying up their ZESA debts. However, the minister of Energy, Hon Elton Mangoma has given the nation a ray of hope adding that the servicing of the Hwange and Kariba power plant has been finished and is set to see an increase in electricity production and supply.
