Leadership changes at CHRA

Dear Residents and Partners

The Management Committee of CHRA is pleased to inform all residents and partners that following a meeting of the Management committee held on the 2nd of June 2011 the Association has resolved to appoint Mr. Mfundo Mlilo as its Coordinator with immediate effect.

Mr. Mlilo has worked with the Association before as Senior Programs officer responsible for Advocacy and Training and has a wealth of experience in grassroots movements. He thus has an understating of the operational framework of the Association and the issues that residents grapple with on a day to day basis. Mr. Mlilo studied at the University of Zimbabwe and recently completed a degree in development studies with the University of South Africa. He brings experience in project planning and management, public policy formulation and lobbying and advocacy. Mr. Mlilo has worked with the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition as a Programs Associate and at ZINASU as National Coordinator.

He is expected to lead the restructuring of the Association within the current socio-economic and political environment.

Residents and partners are urged to cooperate with him.
