mortality rate and Mutare hospital due to negligence, poor service
delivery and work strike

The Daily Agenda, published from Monday to Friday will provide information

Mutare
- High mortality rate of mothers and children during child
birth have been reported at Mutare General Hospital supposedly due
to negligence, poor service delivery and the health workers strike
that has prevailed since last week.
Bulawayo
- Bulawayo Agenda's Gender and Development
Department held a women's focus group meeting, on Friday,
to urge meaningful participation of women in the constitution making
process. Bulawayo Agenda held a Public meeting to review the first
year of the Inclusive Government (IG) at the Small City Hall on
Saturday. Many attended the meeting to review the performance of
the IG with the public expressing sentiments that there is need
to implement all the issues in the GPA
for the country to move forward. There were also calls from the
public to participate in the constitution making process with all
speakers noting that a new constitution for Zimbabwe will help the
country move forward. Speakers included Hon Thabitha Khumalo (MDC
-T), Peter Baka Nyoni (Zanu PF) and Mary Ndlovu.
