Lets us lodge our objections to the 2009 City Budget
Combined Harare Residents Association (CHRA)

The Combined Harare Residents Association (CHRA) wishes to advise Harare residents and all users of the Council services, to lodge their objections to the 2009 City of Harare Budget with their respective Ward Councilor before the 7th of April 2009. CHRA has been inundated with reports from residents who feel that the service charges outlined in the budget are too high and beyond the affordability of many. The Association therefore, urges residents to raise their concerns with the Councilors and lobby for the reduction of municipal service charges. The Council has for some reason failed to publish the proposed budget in the press and have advised that the public may get to view the budget at Town House. You are hereby advised to get in touch with your councilor or CHRA for help on how you can get the copy of the budget.
