CHRA rejects proposed city budget

The Combined Harare Residents Association resolved on Saturday 6 January to reject the proposed City of Harare 2007 budget and to take any action necessary to express our rejection of the budget and the illegal Sekesai Makwavarara Commission.

We do so because the commission has no mandate from the residents of Harare to formulate any budget and we demand an immediate return to legitimate governance at Town House.
