IT is hereby
notified that the Minister of Finance has, in terms of section 12
of the Census and Statistics Act [Chapter 10:29], made the following
regulations:—
Title
1. These rules may be cited as the Census and Statistics Regulations,
2012.
Interpretation
2. In these regulations, unless inconsistent with the context—
“census night” means midnight on the night between 17th
and 18th days of August, 2012;
“census period” means the period from the 17th August,
2012, to the 28th August, 2012.
Information to be collected
3. The census to be taken in the census period shall be of—
(a) the number of persons within Zimbabwe; and
(b) the other particulars prescribed in the Schedule.
