ZIMBABWE NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL AMENDMENT BILL, 2010
MEMORANDUM

This Bill will amend the Zimbabwe National Security Council Act [Chapter 11:22] principally to make the Ministers responsible for National Security and Prison Service, members of the Zimbabwe National Security Council.
In more detail the individual clauses of the Bill provides as follows—

Clause 1
This clause sets out the Bill’s short title.

Clause 2
Section 3 for the Zimbabwe National Security Council Act establishes and sets out the members of the Zimbabwe National Security Council. This clause will amend section (3)(a)(iv) by making the Ministers responsible for National Security and Prison Service members of the Zimbabwe National Security Council.
