(Date of Second Presidential Election) Notice, 2008
IT is hereby
notified that the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission, in terms of section
192(1) as read with section 192(5)(a) of the Electoral
Act [Chapter 2:13], has with the approval of the Minister of
Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, made the following notice:-
Title
1. This notice
may be cited as the Electoral (Date of Second Presidential Election)
Notice, 2008.
Polling day in second Presidential election
2. A poll shall
be taken on Friday the 27th June, 2008, for the purpose of electing
a person to the office of President.
This notice
was published as a supplement to the Zimbabwean Government Gazette
dated the 16th May, 2008.
