to Information and Protection of Privacy (Registration, Accreditation
and Levy) Regulations, 2002 - SI 169C/2002

These regulations were promulgated by supplement to the Zimbabwe Government
Gazette dated 15th June, 2002, with immediate effect.
The Access to Information
and Protection of Privacy Act came into effect on 15th March, 2002, and
provides for a number of regulations. These are the first to be published.
The first Schedule lists the fees payable for the different categories
of media required to register. For example, journalists for local media
must pay a registration fee of Z$5,000 and application fee of Z$1,000,
whilst those for foreign media must pay fees of US$1,000 and US$50 respectively.
