ZCTU offices raided
Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU)

The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions offices have just been raided by the Central Investigations Department operatives and some members of the Central Intelligence Officers.

The raid took place at around 930am. ZCTU staff were harassed, threatened, some were slapped and beaten up. All offices were searched and flyers, files and some video tapes were seized. The Financial Administrator, Galileo Chirebvu was asked to accompany the CID.

They had a search warrant with them and they said they were looking for subversive material.
