Update on trial of 12 Chegutu ZCTU activists

The 12 Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions activists who were arrested in Chegutu over the September 13 mass protests have had their reporting conditions scrapped (18 Jan 2007). They were previously required to report to the police once a week.

The trial date has been set as 13 February 2007.
