Roy Bennett asks High Court to drop terrorism charges against him. Finance Minister Tendai Biti has called for a complete overhaul of the laws governing the country's diamond trade. Zimbabwe Association of Doctors for Human Rights issue a statement focusing on the lack of access of women in Zimbabwe to much-needed and life-saving maternal health care. 600 WOZA women march to High Court in Bulawayo.

Zimbabwe wins an Oscar! Music by Prudence won Best Short Subject Documentary. The film is about a disabled music band from Bualwayo. Jestina Mukoko, the Director of Zimbabwe Peace Project (ZPP) receives International Women of Courage Award. The Consumer Council of Zimbabwe released statistics stating that the price of basic commodities rose by 20.5% from January to February 2010.

International Women's Day: Catherine Makoni rejects all forms of violence. Of the 1.6 million Zimbabweans with HIV, 55 percent of are women. Morgan Tsvangirai will run in next year's national elections but is calling for peacekeepers to guard the election over fears that security forces will intimidate voters. President Robert Mugabe hinted that he too will run for re-election.
