Finance and Administration Officer - Centre for Community
Development In Zimbabwe (CCDZ)

is a registered non-profit making organization whose mission is
to strengthen community participation in dialogue, governance and
democracy.
A vacancy has
arisen for a Finance & Administration Officer based at our offices
in Harare.
Main Responsibilities:
- Management
of assets including maintenance of asset inventory
- Prepare financial
reports for submission to Management and to donors
- Prepare budget
proposals for submission to donors
- Procure office
equipment
- Preparation
of monthly payroll
- Processing
bank transactions
Key Competencies
- Higher Diploma
or Degree in Accounting from a reputable institution
- Minimum 2
years experience in a similar environment
- At least
2 years working experience with Pastel & Belina Payroll
- Knowledge
of working with established donors (e.g DFID, USAID, UNDP etc)
a distinct advantage

Women Public Service Fellowship
Deadline: 7 January 2010
The African Women Public Service Fellowship at New York University's
Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service is looking for
prospective female applicants from Africa who have completed an
undergraduate level degree. The program serves to expand the opportunity
for African women to prepare for public service leadership roles
in their home countries. The current fellowship offer is for candidates
interested in starting NYU Wagner's two-year Master of Public Administration
(MPA) program, or the one-year Executive MPA: Concentration on International
Public Service Organizations (for mid-career candidates only) with

Counselling
Services offered At Padare/Ekundleni Men's Forum
Padare/Enkundleni
Men's Forum on Gender now offers drop-in Counselling services
at their offices situated at No 6 Winchester Road, Belvedere in
Harare. While this free Counselling facility is open to boys, young
men and men; women, girls and young women may access it too.
Focus is not
only on perpetrators but also survivors and concerned witnesses
to domestic violence, gender based violence or any gender injustices.
Cases can be at family, household, community or relationship level.
