The NOKIA stand at WSIS was very popular. A big attraction was the personal photo badge created using the latest mobile camera phones to take pictures. In this photograph, delegates smile as they get their picture taken by NOKIA staff.

LCD screens a marvel to watch
For those who thought watching TV is boring, wait until you see the picture quality on the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen. The LCD is hung on the wall just like a painting. The sound from these LCD's is amazing!

$100 laptop launched at WSIS Tunis

$100 wind up laptop for pupils
Nicknamed the green machine, this $100 laptop was launched by the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan during WSIS. The laptop is powered by a wind-up crank and has a very low power consumption. The laptop was developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and will be sold to developing nations.

The KRAM Exhibition Park had designated WiFi hotspots that allowed delegates to connect to the Internet from their laptops using a wireless connection.
