ZimRights Bulawayo coordinator further remanded
Zimbabwe Human
Rights Association (ZimRights)
August 26, 2011
ZimRights Bulawayo
Regional Coordinator, Miss Florence Ndlovu has been further remanded
out of custody to the 29th September 2011.
This is the third time she has been remanded.
ZimRights is
greatly perturbed by the prejudice that she and the organisation
suffer as result of the continued delay and loss in valuable time
and resources through travels to Lupane from Bulwayo, only to be
remanded.
Zimrights urges
the prosecution to proceed by the way of summons should they finish
their investigations disparate the current situation where she goes
there in order to be remanded to a further date. ZimRights demands
that there be no further delay in execution of justice. It has become
a major cause for concern that the police, are arresting suspects
in order to investigate and not the other way round.
