ZimRights congratulatory message to ZWLA

ZimRights congratulates and appreciate the strides made by ZWLA in the fights for women's rights since the beginning of the year. Outstanding among them included an observer status during the 25th-27th April, 49th ordinary session of the African Commission on Human and People's rights (ACHPR) in collaboration with African Centre for Democracy and Human Rights Studies (ACCHRS) followed by the successful holding of a ZLWA Women's Human Rights Defenders' Awards whose winners cam as follows:

The overall winner was Nyaradzai Gumbonzvanda, 1st runner up was Alec Muchadehama and 2nd runner up was Mary Ndlovu.

Once again, ZimRights congratulates both the individual women's rights campaigners and the collective efforts through ZWLA. This is a well-deserved acknowledgement for your commitment on defending the rights of women.
