Justice Hungwe defers judgement on Bennett's bail application

High Court Judge, Justice Charles Hungwe on Friday 16 October 2009 deferred his ruling in a bail application seeking the release of incarcerated Deputy Agriculture Minister-Designate Roy Bennett to Friday afternoon.

Justice Hungwe who presided over the bail hearing on Friday morning reserved judgment to 14:15 pm.

In reserving judgment Justice Hungwe said he needed ample time to consider the submissions by both the defence and State counsel.
