It is with great pleasure that we inform you of our successful constitutional challenge in judgement delivered by the Constitutional Court on the 28th of September 2009.

The year was a difficult one and public confidence in the justice delivery system was not at its strongest. There was a lot of uncertainty over the outcome of this case and this affected most of ZPPs operations. ZPPs operations were disrupted for almost half a year. However, with the handing down of the Supreme Court's order, this has gone some way towards rebuilding our faith in the judiciary. We are glad that the majority of you were patient with us when we could not carry out some of the activities as planned.

We would like to thank you for your support, patience and all of the effort that you channelled towards our fight for justice. It had been a long walk to freedom but we have made it finally. It was worth the fight.

It is often said that challenges are there to strengthen us, as ZPP we have been made stronger, refined and resolute. We will continue to fight for the respect of human rights, good governance and democracy in Zimbabwe.

Again, thank you for your unwavering support. We greatly appreciate the assistance you gave us.
