    MDC offices bombed
    Alleged Zanu PF supporters in Zaka District of Masvingo Province petrol bombed the Movement for Democratic Change offices yesterday, the 4th of June 2008 at around 0300 hours. The arson claimed 2 MDC officials, Kudakwashe Tsumule and Kudakwashe Nyamwa out of the 7 that were in the offices. The incident occurred at Jerera Growth Point in Masvingo.

    Reports from the MDC Chairman for Masvingo Province, Mr. Sitemere state that they have so far found only two and the whereabouts of the other five are still not known.

    Meanwhile . . .
    The 14 activists of the Women of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA) including the Director, Jenny Williams and member, Magodonga Mahlangu who were arrested last Wednesday, 28 May 2008 were denied bail by the High Court on Friday the 30th of May 2008 after the state opposed it. The WOZA activists were remanded in custody until the next hearing on Friday the 6th of June.
