Zimbabwe National Network for People Living with
HIV/AIDS (ZNNP+)

1. Provincial
Coordinator
Purpose of Job:
To facilitate information sharing by members and co-ordinate capacity
development activities throughout the network
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate
the provincial activities of the organisation.
- Develop
and manage the provincial capacity building programme of the organisation.
- Coordinate
the networking activities with identified key organizations with
the objective of addressing socio economic issues.
- Create awareness
about the organisation within the province.
- Explore
programme ideas and develop into proposals for funding.
- Ensure timeliness
and successful implementation of activities.
- Establish
and maintain contact with funding partners.
- Complete
project and programme reports.
- Maintain
calendar of proposals and reporting deadlines.
- Develop and
maintain a database on donor grants received and reporting schedules.
- Play a key
role in local capacity building at support group level.
- Ensure implementation
of projects in conformity with donor guidelines and procedures.
- Coordinate
meetings, workshops and preparation of required material.
- Regular
travel to provincial, district and women, youths' and children's
support group sites.
- Represent
ZNNP+ and PLHIV at meetings and workshops at local, regional and
international forum.
- Assist in
planning and implementation of ZNNP+ projects for effective management.
- Liaise with
line officers and members in mobilizing for the development of
advocacy issues.
- Perform
any other duties as required by the Executive Director, supervisor
and like authority.
Qualifications
and Experience
- A degree
in Social Sciences, Public Health, Law or equivalent from a recognized
institution.
- A certificate
or diploma in counseling.
- Ability
and passion to work with people living with HIV and AIDS.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least
5 years experience in an NGO environment.
- Good knowledge
of HIV and AIDS programming in Zimbabwe.
- Excellent
computer skills.
- Fundraising
skills
2. Monitoring
and Evaluation Officer
Purpose of Job:
Ensure timely monitoring, analysis and reporting on progress to
donors and other stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
and manage the systematic monitoring of progress and achievements
of the programme activities against stated objectives.
- Identify,
recommend and support opportunities for improvement of operations
and capacity building.
- Ensure the
effective delivery of programme activities
- Design and
implement a system of performance indicators that is accurate,
realistic and measurable in respect of targets.
- Prepare
clear M & E goals that are consistent with project and organisational
objectives.
- Identify,
prioritize and adjust priorities and allocate time and resources
to ensure completion of all activities.
- Provide technical
support to other line officers and partners as required.
- Collate
and analyse data and information and produce relevant informative
reports.
- Prepare
and submit reports in conformity with donor guidelines and procedures.
- Represent
ZNNP+ and PLHIV at meetings and workshops at local, regional and
international forum.
- Perform
any other duties as required by the Executive Director, supervisor
and like authority.
Qualifications
and Experience
- A Masters
degree in development studies, e.g. International Relations, Statistics,
Economics, Finance, Social Sciences or Public Administration,
or similar from a recognized institution.
- At least
5 years relevant professional experience in hands on design of
monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Sound knowledge
and understanding of monitoring and evaluation concepts.
- Ability
to work with results frameworks and performance monitoring.
- Proven experience
in statistical applications and data analysis, i.e. familiarity
with both qualitative and quantitative information analysis tools.
- Ability
to conduct research and use statistical skills in analyzing data
whist ensuring design has statistical rigor.
- Ability
to evaluate and integrate information from a variety of sources
and assess its impact.
- Ability
to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Ability
to work both as a team as well as individually.
- Ability
and passion to work with people living with HIV and AIDS.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Gender
& Youth Officer
Purpose of Job:
Coordinate the activities of positive women, youth and children
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate
the activities of positive women, youth and children within the
organisation and with other affiliate partners.
- Develop
and manage the capacity building programme of positive women,
youth and children.
- Coordinate
the networking activities with identified key organizations with
the objective of addressing socio economic issues with a bias
towards women, youth and children.
- Facilitates
Positive Women leadership and mentoring developmental programmes.
- Create awareness
about positive women, youth and children's rights.
- Produce
I E C material which addresses issues of positive women, youth
and children.
- Co-ordinate
the documentation of positive women, youth and children's
activities.
- Explore
programme ideas and develop into proposals for funding.

4. Finance
& Administration Officer
Purpose of Job:
Ensure financial records are updated monthly and records are stored
for easy retrieval
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain
the organisations cashbooks and reconciliations.
- Administer
asset management policies.
- Administer
the implementation of financial systems and internal controls
- Ensure the
use of relevant financial forms, procedures and controls.
- Administer
the implementation and control of budgets.
- Prepare
activity budget and cash flow projections.
- Prepare
cash, bank, creditors and debtors reconciliation statements.
- Perform
any other duties as required by the Executive Director, supervisor
and like authority.
Qualifications
and Experience
- A degree
or diploma in Accounting or similar qualification from a recognized
institution.
- Ability
and prowess to work with people living with HIV and AIDS.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Faith
Based Organisations Officer
Purpose of Job:
Coordinate the activities of member religious inter faith based
organizations
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate
HIV and AIDS activities of religious inter faith organisations
and affiliate partner organisations.
- Develop
and manage the capacity building programme of religious inter
faith organisations so that they meaningfully contribute to the
national response.
- Coordinate
the networking activities with identified key organizations with
the objective of addressing socio economic issues with a bias
towards religious inter faith organisations.
- Resource
mobilize for relevant activities.
- Create awareness
about the rights of religious inter faith organisations.
- Produce
I E C material which addresses issues of religious inter faith
organisations.
- Co-ordinate
the documentation of religious inter faith organisations'
HIV and AIDS related activities.
- Explore

or diploma in counseling.
- Past experience
with religious inter faith organisations would be an added advantage.
- Ability
and passion to work with people living with HIV and AIDS.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least
5 years experience in an NGO environment.
- Good knowledge
of HIV and AIDS programming in Zimbabwe.
- Excellent
computer skills.
6. Driver
/ General Assistant
Purpose of Job:
Ensure all office facilities are functional and to ensure errands
are effectively undertaken
Key responsibilities
- Ensure that
offices and premises are kept clean and secure at all times.
- Ensure that
the reception area is always manned during working hours.
- Ensure that
all mail received is recorded and circulated accordingly.
- Receive
incoming call and extend to relevant offices.
- Receive
request for outgoing calls from various offices and process such
calls.
- Monitor
all outgoing calls
- Maintain
a register for all office consumables.
- Attend to
filing needs for the organisation.
- Maintain
contact with service providers and other stakeholders.
- Maintain
a record of asset allocation and usage.
- Carry out
delivery and collection errands as directed by Administration
Manager.
- Ensure motor
vehicles are regularly cleaned.
- Check condition
of all vehicles regularly to ensure water and oils are topped
to desired levels.
- Advise Administration
Manager of impending motor vehicle service requirements.
- Administer
the vehicle log book system with the assistance of thee Administration
Officer. Perform any other duties as required by the Executive
Director, supervisor and like authority.
Qualifications
and Experience
- Clean Class
4 Driver's license. A defensive driving certificate is an
advantage.
- An aptitude
towards motor vehicle maintenance.
- At least
5 "O" level passes
- 5 years
driving experience
- Ability
to prepare reports
- Good computer
skills.
- Ability
and passion to work with people living with HIV and AIDS.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Caretaker
Key responsibilities
- Ensure that
offices and premises are kept clean and secure at all times.
- Ensure that
the gardens are maintained in a reasonable state at all times.
- Ensure that
offices are swept and any rubbish removed on a daily basis.
- Ensure that
offices are unlocked at start of business and locked at end of
business daily.
- Ensure that
the alarm system is engaged whenever the office is vacated.
- Ensure that
all outbuildings are maintained in a clean and acceptable state.
- Check on
security lighting and report on any requirements.
- Report on
any faults and areas needing repairs
- Perform
any other duties as required by the supervisor and like authority.
Qualifications
and Experience
- At least
5 "O" level passes.
- Ability
and passion to work with people living with HIV and AIDS.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least
5 years experience in a similar environment.
8.
Advocacy and Communications Officer
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate
the activities of the organisation in all advocacy issues.
- Support
the all structures in creating a positive and lasting image of
the organisation with all the varied stakeholders.
- Strengthen
advocacy skills of PLHIV at all levels, i.e. national to support
group.
- Lobby for
the improvement in the health delivery system towards PLHIV and
for the reduction in stigma
- Produce
relevant I E C material which addresses various advocacy issues.
- Explore

- Ensure timelines
and successful implementation of activities.
- Establish
and maintain contact with funding partners.
