HIV/Aids in the workplace
UK Consortium on Aids & International Development (UCAID)
October 21, 2003
We are currently undertaking a project looking at HIV/AIDS workplace
policies. The project includes: undertaking case studies on NGOs
and commercial organisations that have developed HIV/AIDS workplace
policies and programmes, writing up a short best practice guideline
approach to developing a HIV/AIDS workplace policy, and pulling
together a resource list of useful websites and example documents.
This will then be put together as a resource for members and others
to gain information on HIV/AIDS workplace programmes.
As part of the
project we are looking for information on websites or documents
on HIV/AIDS workplace policies and programmes. The sort of websites
and documents it would be useful to include are:
- general sites
providing good information and links for HIV/AIDS in the workplace,
example HIV/AIDS workplace policy documents and programmes, example
supporting material such as handbooks, leaflets, best practice
- guidelines
for HIV/AIDS workplace policices and programmes, examples of HIV/AIDS
impact/risk assessment
models (e.g. how to guide to evaluating the risks of HIV/AIDS
to your organisation)
It would be
greatly appreciated if you could assist us with any suggestions
of documents (and where to obtain them) or website resources.
Best wishes,
Richard Walker
