to the SAYWHAT competitions winners
Students and Youth Working on Reproductive Health Action Team
(SAYWHAT)

SAYWHAT
would like to congratulate students who participated and won in
the HASP Research Challenge and the Poster Designing Competition.
The winners
are:

In November-December
last year, SAYWHAT announced the "Call for Proposals"
under the HASP Research Challenge in which students were asked to
submit research proposals and SAYWHAT will be supporting the students
financially and technically in carrying out the research.
The HIV/AIDS
Support Project (HASP) is being carried out by SAYWHAT in partnership
with OXFAM Canada
and is being implemented in four colleges, namely, Chinhoyi University
of Technology (CUT), Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE),
Kushinga Phikhelela Farmer Training Centre, and Hillside Teacher
Training College. The project seeks to enhance the provision of
youth friendly services on Sexual and Reproductive health and ensuring
the meaningful participation of young women in SRH Leadership and
Advocacy.
SAYWHAT would
also want to congratulate Mr David Makacha for winning the "My
Voice My Power Poster Design Competition" a project which
seeks to tape in the expertise of students who can design a poster
that addresses themes like Positive Living (including Hope for Students
living with HIV and AIDS), Promotion of uptake of Sexual and Reproductive
Health services and commodities as well as Behavioural change to
reduce the vulnerability of students, Equal participation of young
men and women (gender equality and equity) and its relationship
to Sexual and Reproductive Health.
We continuously
encourage students to participate in our programs and help build
a gender just nation with students who enjoy their reproductive
health and create vast opportunities for themselves in the process.
