for suspension of community service postponed

After being found guilty on charges of Conspiracy
to commit public violence as defined in section 188 as read
with section 36 of the Criminal
Law (Codification and Reform) Act [Chapter 9:23], Welcome Zimuto,
a student at Chinhoyi University of Technology and five civic society
activists, Munyaradzi Gwisai, Hopewell Gumbo, Antoneta Choto, Tatenda
Mombeyarara and Edson Chakuma appeared before a Harare Regional
Magistrate Mr. Kudakwashe Jarabini, today the 26th of March for
an application to suspend their community service pending their
high court appeal. Today prosecutor Michael Reza recused himself
and transferred the case to the initial prosecutor Edmore Nyazamba.
The case has been postponed to tomorrow the March 27th, 2012.
