Missing
student activists released from police custody
Students Solidarity Trust
March 04, 2011
Three student activists
have been released from police custody; the students were being
held at Kuwadzana 2 police station and have been released with no
charges being leveled against them. The three Orbert Masarawure
(ZINASU president, Trymore Musokeri and Archford Mudzengi were detained
after they were overhead castigating the unlawful detentions of
fellow activists. The unstable political climate has been brought
about by fears of an Egypt style revolution in Zimbabwe and the
launch of the campaign against sanctions.
