Two
NUST students hospitalised after protest

Two National
University of Science and Technology (NUST) students were run
down by a Mazda Pick up truck during the melee at yesterday's
demonstration over tuition fees. The two were admitted at United
Bulawayo Hospital and their condition is not yet known.

Criminal Investigations
Law and Order officers screened the 30 arrested students and detained
10 namely Trevor Vambe, Brighton Mukwari, Christopher Hwada, Brighton
Mukwari, Fortune Karimanzira, Kennedy Chizana, Michael Zvinowanda,
Evans Musara, Mukai Chigumo, Lawrence Bhebhe and Tawanda Saiti,
they are being charged with malicious injury to property. Dorothy
Phulu is representing the students. However the police are looking
for four student leaders namely SRC President Kurayi Hoyi, Secretary
General Samson Nxumalo, Former Secretary General Vivid Gwede and
ZINASU Finance Secretary Sheunesu Nyoni in connection with the protest.
