The Zimbabwe
National Students Union will be joining hands with the National
Constitutional Assembly (NCA) in tomorrow, Tuesday 11 November
2008 demonstration to push for a transitional arrangement that will
urgently work towards addressing the desperate humanitarian catastrophe
in the country.
We wish to reiterate
and emphasize our position that a transitional arrangement respecting
the will of the people is the only way forward. Any arrangement
must respect the aspirations and decision of the people as reflected
on March 29 2008.
We urge Zimbabweans,
especially noting what transpired at the 'legitimacy-deficit' SADC
summit on the 9th of November, to get back to trenches and shape
our destiny. Nothing for us without us.
We cannot continue to
cry foul when we can do something.
Now is the time for action,
mass revolutionary action.
Time is on the side of
the truth and victory belongs to the fearless.
Let's unite and fight
for our future.
Let's not despair.
