PF thugs indiscriminately assault Masvingo citizens - Student leader

Masvingo citizens got
the shock of the day, as the Masvingo South ZANU P.F House of Assembly
member, Honourable MP Walter Muzembi drugs and buses more than a
hundred thugs into town who indiscriminately assaulted innocent
citizens. ZINASU is reliably informed that the operation is targeting
all civic, political and student activists in the ancient town.
This led to the arrest of Great Zimbabwe University students union
secretary general, Edson Hlatswayo.
The barbaric attack on citizen comes ahead of a Zimbabwe Youth Forum
public meeting to be held in the Charles Austin Theatre, at the
Civic Centre this late afternoon and the planned Morgan Tsvangirai
led Movement for Democratic Change (MDC)'s 8th anniversary commemorations
to be staged at Mucheke Stadium on Saturday the 29th of September
2007. This is a deliberate move by the ruling party to scare away
participants at these two events.
