Legal Secretary Lawrence Mashungu will tomorrow appear in court
facing charges of contravening public order and security act. The

movement. ZINASU has been at loggerheads with the education
authorities over the education policy which the government introduced
early last year.
Meanwhile

on the government until it yields to the demands of the students,he
said the extra-ordinary general meeting of ZINASU held in Harare
on Monday the 26th of February 2007 had resolved to go on stayaway
from the 5th of March 2007 until the problems affecting students
have been resolved.
The
students are demanding:
- An immediate review of our payout
- improved accommodation and food standards
- ln solidarity with our Lecturers and parents(workers),demand
a review of their salaries to meet their basic needs.
- An immedite resolution of the current crisis that threatens
to break the very fibre of our beloved country and put into disarray
the prospects of a bright future
The
demands are just and legitimate
