Bulawayo Agenda commemorates Day of the African Child

Today marks the celebrations of the Day of the African Child. UNICEF unveiled the global theme of the commemorations as "The Place of Parenting in Curbing Child Abuse." Bulawayo Agenda would like to join the rest of the continent in celebrating the African child. The organization calls on all parents and guardians to recognize and respect children's rights. Children are the leaders of the future and parents should take up their responsibility to groom them into responsible leaders.
