Plumtree - The business community in Plumtree has been accused of neglecting the infrastructure of the town while funding political activities. Residents singled out Spar Plumtree saying the owner are reported to be sponsoring a ZANU PF activity that is due to be held soon. Residents have declared that if Spar - Plumtree continues to bank roll Zanu PF they shall stop buying from the store.

Lupane - Traditional leaders in Lupane have vowed to be apolitical. The over forty traditional leaders admitted that they have been used before to drive political agendas and now want to serve their communities in a non partisan manner. They made these vows at Gandangule School where there was a public meeting organized by Lupane Agenda. The traditional leaders explained that their duties and roles include working together with the whole community regardless of what political party they belong too.
