CCDZ in Mukarakate/Macheke farming community
Centre for Community Development in Zimbabwe (CCDZ)

The Centre for Community Development In Zimbabwe will hold a Civic Discussion Forum focusing on the Constitution at Dombwe Business Centre in Mukarakate in the Macheke Farming community.The meeting will be addressed by members of CCDZ and Legal Resources Foundation.The meeting starts at 10 am on 29th July.

The speeches to be delivered at the civic meeting will focus on Declaration of Rights, Women's Rights, Child Rights, The Rights of the Disabled, Separation of Powers, Limited Terms and Constitutionalization of Local governance and service delivery. The civic meeting is one in a series of outreach activities organized by CCDZ and its civil society partners such as LRF, Crisis In Zimbabwe Coalition, ZimRights, Zimbabwe National Students Union and others to raise awareness on the ongoing Constitution-Making process.

CCDZ will hold another meeting at St Clares School in Ward 16 in Murewa on Friday, 30th of July.The meeting starts at 10am.The meeting will be addressed by CCDZ director Phillip Pasirayi, Crisis In Zimbabwe Coalition Senior Programme Manager Pedzisayi Ruhanya, Tsungai Vere, CCDZ Programmes Officer and representative from the Legal Resources Foundation.
