Matebeleland South

On Saturday the 10th of July 2010 COPAC held a public consultation meeting at Makole centre in Insiza district. The meeting did not commence on time and was allegedly highly polarized. According to a Crisis Coalition monitor in the area, Movement for Democratic Change Mutambabra supporter and ZANU PF supporters refused to attend the outreach meetings at the designated venue opting to assemble at two different venues based on their political inclination. When the COAPC team eventually arrived the meeting was relocated to a neutral venue but the two groups refused to convene in the meeting taking place under a tree near Makole Business Centre where 44 people 20 men and 24 women attended.

Matebeleland North

Two meetings failed to take place in Matebeleland North's Victoria Falls district. The meeting had initially been scheduled to take place on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th of July 2010 but failed as residents sabotaged them. The COPAC team was forced to reschedule the meetings to Saturday the 10th of July 2010 but the meetings also failed to materialize owing to non-attendance by residents.

Mashonaland west

An outreach took place at Murindagomo Business centre in Zvimba district where 67 people attended. A monitor in the district reported that three people were turned away from the meeting after they were identified as part of participants who attended a COPAC meeting held a Kawondera Business centre in the same district. Ironically after the three's departure, participants started contributing. Reports also indicate that in Zvimba, people's response to questions is better that what was witnessed in Makonde district in the same province where people were seemingly coached by political parties.

Mashonaland Central

In Mashonaland central an outreach meeting held at Mont Dorr Business Centre ward 19 in Shamva was attended by approximately 200 people. However the monitors noted that most of the participants had been coached by ZANU PF as their responses were in line with the party's positions on different thematic areas.
