    Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition
    June 04, 2010

Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition took the opportunity to publicise the importance of participation in the constitution making process during the march between the warriors of Zimbabwe and the Samba boys of Brazil.

The coalition used the friendly match as a platform to promote popular participation in the constitution making process. T-shirts and fliers with messages explaining the significance of writing a democratic constitution for the country were distributed. The project aimed at executing one of the Coalition's objectives of promoting popular participation in the constitution making process.

According to COPAC the constitution making process will kick start on the 15th of June 2010 the same week the historic World Cup soccer tournament kicks off in South Africa.

Crisis Coalition has held public meetings in rural, urban and farming areas in Mashonaland Central, Mashonaland east, Mashonaland west and the Midlands provinces, which aimed at educating and informing the Zimbabwean citizenry on the ongoing constitution making process.
